Born In Pattern

The Blurb

In a distinct departure from the usual sarcastic, overblown comedy that I usually write, BIP is a story in which we call into question the very nature of humanity. We fear that which we do not understand, and thus we destroy ourselves.

The intent of this story is to rewrite the narratives surrounding our fears of technological progress. It is, at times, extremely uncomfortable, and speaks to topics that may make readers squirm, but it is a conversation worth having. Should only a select few be allowed to pro-create? Should we entrust the future of our species to another, one that knows best? Is it better to improve species, or self?

These are but a few of the questions raised throughout the story. I may not have the answers, but the questions are worth asking.
